It’s a wrap for Bolero for Surfing in Moravia!
The shooting period of our film ended and in a quite satisfactory way for the whole team.
Three and a half days of filming in Caracas. We were able to gather a wonderful crew, and with their talent and effort we approached the city with a camera in a process that was not only aesthetic adn narrative, but also nostalgic for those of us who no longer live in Venezuela.
From those shooting days, there’s a short video you can check out here.
A few days ago, the footage from Caracas arrived to Prague and Jorge Sánchez, our editor, thinks that for the first days of March we could have a broad, first and very rough cut.
But of course, the previous would had have been only a dream if we didn’t achieve our crowdfunding goal.
On december the 24th, the best christmas gift The Dancing Surfers got was the counter on our indiegogo campaign: 10.375 $ raised thanks to over a 100 persons that even in bolivares (venezuelan currency internationally blocked), drew a note over the pentagram of this bolero that is on composition without stoping the dancing.
